What are Dash Cams all about?
Dash Cams are extremely helpful when it comes to your safety. Think of them as "security cameras" but for your car. But of course, they are a lot more than just security cameras. They can be used as a proof of an accident taking place involving your car, thief, etc. They will capture the footage during the event, even the conversation took place which will help you find your right a lot easier. In this case, Vantrue N4 is packed with some notable features including Motion Detection, 3 Cameras (Front, Facing and Rear), up to 2160p resolution and Infrared night vision for the Driver.
Looking at the Vantrue N4 Dash Cam...
Vantrue N4 is built in mainly out of high quality plastic. One thing you may be concerned is its weight being close to 1Kg. However, it's still not heavy enough to fall from its mount clamp on the window. By adjusting the Cup Mount, the chances of it falling are extremely low. On the top of the Dash Cam, you have 5 buttons. The right-most is the Power button, and the left-most, the menu button. The 3 middle buttons are used to navigate around the menu with the OK to select an option, right and left arrow keys to move up and down or left and right.
Cameras
The resolution of the front camera can get up to 2160p, but this will restrict the facing and rear cameras to 720p. On the settings, you have got a few options of the resolutions of the cameras. You may pick the most appropriate for your case. Personally, I believe the 1440p 1080p 1080p is the best option as the difference between 1440p and 2160p isn't that dramatic. The FPS are standard at 30FPS. The facing camera (also the driver's camera) contains 4 Infrared (IR) Sensors activated at night for better vision inside the car. Unfortunately, there aren't any IR sensors on the front and rear camera.
Connectivity
Looking at the connectivity, the N4 is connected via USB Type-C cable, hence higher speeds when it comes to data transmission as well as built-in to an HD out port to view all the footage. To view the footage on a computer, you most likely need to use an SD card adapter (if you don't have one) to connect the SD card to your Windows or Mac computer. However, if you don't have access to neither a TV nor to a computer at a time, you can always view them straight from the Camera. Of course, you've got the micro-SD card slot as well as a reset button to reset N4 back to its factory settings. You will need a thin object to press on it. Use that button with caution.
Power
In terms of power supply, unlike the N2 Pro, N4 does NOT have a battery and so the camera won't turn on when there isn't any power connected to it. However, there is a Hardwire Kit which you can purchase from Vantrue which connects the camera to an external battery allowing it to use the Parking mode feature. I would highly encourage you to look into that Kit in order to get most out of the Dash Cam.
What makes the Vantrue N4 to stand out?
Mainly the triple-Camera recording system and their high resolution. At the time of its release date, it was the first Dash Cam featuring 3-Channel cameras.
How does the recording system work?
The Dash Cam used Record Loops, so recording intervals of 3 or 5 minutes, depending on how you set it to be. By default, it's 3 minutes (you also have the option to turn it off, but it's highly discouraged). This implies that the camera records 3 minutes of video of an event. Once the 3 minutes are elapsed, it stores the footage in the SD card and then continues with another 3 minute video. This is a very useful option, especially for SD cards with smaller storage so once there is no space available, the Dash Cam will delete the oldest footage and replace it with the latest recording. That's why it's a good option to always back up your footage using a computer.
What about Night Vision?
Night vision (with IR sensors) is good, however I believe the night vision could be a bit further improved on the Front and Rear cameras. As I am not a car owner myself, I was unable to test it on the road, but I was able to get a good shot of the Facing camera containing the IR sensors. I would say the Facing camera has a better night vision quality compared to the N2 Pro.

How easy is it to set it up?
Setting up all 3 cameras is somewhat easy. All it takes is to stick the Rear camera on the back window of your car and use the 20ft Extension cable to connect it to the Dash Cam with the USB Type-C cable. The most challenging part would be to place the cables on the sides of your car to prevent any possible discomfort. Of course, if this is your first Dash Cam, you may need to use the User Guide to go through the setup. Personally, looking into the User Guides and Manuals, I found them to be easier to follow than others. Of course, if you have any questions with the setup, please either drop them on the comment section below, or open a thread in our forum here.
Getting Started
The camera itself doesn't come with a micro SD card and so you will have to purchase one if you don't already have one. We encourage you to purchase an 256GB Micro SD card, but a 128GB option would be a good deal if you are on a budget. We found the best options for you listed below which you can order from Amazon:
Amazon UK 256GB Micro SD Card 28.99£
Amazon UK 128GB Micro SD Card 15.99£
Amazon US 256GB Micro SD Card 32.99$
Amazon US 128GB Micro SD Card 19.99$
Once you insert your SD card in the Dash Cam, you might be asked to format the SD card. Please keep in mind that this will delete all of your data if you have used the card before. If it's new, then there is nothing to worry about.
Once you setup the SD card, the Dash Cam is ready to record! However, you will need to change the time and date by going to the settings. It can be a bit tedious to change the time, but it's highly encouraged to get the exact time and date of an event as per recording, the time and date will be shown at the bottom of the footage. Other settings which you might need to look into would be increasing or decreasing the exposure, adding your Car Plate, changing the cameras' resolution, increasing ot decreasing the sensitivity of the G-Sensor etc. Make sure to look into all of those before you start using the camera.

Hello! Regarding your question, "How many pages is 3000 words?" The number of pages can vary depending on various factors such as font size, line spacing, and margins. However, a general estimate is that 3000 words would typically fill about 6 pages, assuming standard formatting. Keep in mind that this is just an approximation, and the final page count may vary.
